Kulturkarte
kulturkarte.servus.at ist ein gemeinsamer Kulturkalender für lokale und Online-Communities rund um servus.at, Linz / Oberösterreich / EU und darüber hinaus
Why Kulturkarte?
There are repeated attempts to collect information about events, workshops and all other possible dates for local cultural initiatives and to present them in a centralised manner. However, the large number of different solutions, which are only partially fed, makes the situation even more confusing.
To improve this and provide a central point of contact for members and cooperation partners from the servus.at environment, the Kulturkarte (culture map) was created. At kulturkarte.servus.at, you will find numerous events that can be added and edited independently by our members. The necessary hardware and support is provided by servus.

How can I add events?
There are two ways to add events
- Registered users: Anyone can register at kulturkarte.servus.at/register. Once we have verified your registration, you can add, edit and delete events yourself as needed. This is the way to go, especially for members with more regular events.
- Guest users: To keep publishing accessible, you also have the option of adding an event as a guest. Every event submitted will be checked by us and published after two days. However, as a guest, you cannot edit or delete a submitted event yourself.
Importing and exporting
Import: In addition to manual addition, events can also be added to the Kulturkarte automatically, e.g. using website plugins.
Export: The calendar can be exported via your personal account, embedded on other websites or made available as an RSS feed.
How can I participate?
Although we at servus.at maintain the infrastructure for the Kulturkarte and review events before publication, the Kulturkarte can only function if our members participate proactively. In addition to adding events, there is also the opportunity to participate as a moderator. In this role, you review events and user requests and approve them. We are always looking for committed individuals to bring the Kulturkarte to life.
